Cosette “CoCo” Leary, of From Welfare to the Whitehouse, shares her story of how growing up in poverty, she immersed herself in the power of books and words. As a gifted child, she challenged the systems she grew up in. Finding solace in the local library, she was able to envision a brighter future. Her ability to dream big eventually led her from Welfare to the Whitehouse!
